Foxcub 18

An excellent small (18ft) sailing cruiser that is very easy to sail single-handed. Designed by the legendary Uffa Fox, it has four nominal berths, although two is more realistic and has more than adequate sitting headroom. Easy to trail and sail at 550kg weight, it points up well and is very responsive to the rudder, spinning round in its own length. Handling is predictable and the boat always feels stable. Good in light winds, but in a good breeze she will really show her paces. Author: Mark Jones
