The 12'7" Puffin Pacer was designed by Jack Holt in 1969, as a plywood kit built boat. She is now built in glass fibre and can be made in foam sandwich. This two person boat has dark blue working sails. She is open decked and can be sailed successfully on both the sea and on inland waters. Approximately 2400 boats have been built in the UK, with many thousands more in Australia, where the Pacer is a well known class. The Australian boats have not adopted the genoa and only built Pacers in glass fibre.
